How to Use

Wearing the Bag

1. Place your phone in the rear compartment. The back of the bag (the shielded side) should face your body.

2. Adjust the strap and clip the buckle. Wear as a hip pack, crossbody, or sling. In all three configurations, position the back panel against your body for directional shielding.

3. Use your phone normally. Calls, texts, data, GPS, and Bluetooth all function through the bag. The shielding only blocks radiation traveling toward your body - it does not block your phone’s outgoing or incoming signals. You can even keep your phone inside the Hip Pack and use DefenderShield Air Tube Headphones for ultimate EMF protection.


What the Bag Shields and What It Does Not

• Shielded: the back panel (body-facing side). Directional RF radiation from your phone traveling toward your hip, waist, or torso is blocked.

    Love the quality and feel of the product. I found the strap to be long enough for my waist or over my shoulder. ***I tested this with an EMF meter.     Unable to measure EMF blockage but sturdy quality

    I don't have a way to test whether, or how well, it's blocking the EMF from my cell phone. Until I do, what I am able to say is that the pouch's material is sturdy. At the very least, I feel somewhat reassured -- albeit a placebo effect for now.

    Not as good as my old one.

    The new design is not as nice as the old one. The main pouch zipper is not as heavy duty as it used to be. Also, there are now two zipper pulls on the main pouch zipper and my old fanny pack only has one. The problem with two pulls is that they knock against each other when hiking with the pack which creates what I find to be an annoying rattling sound. The waist strap is not properly fastened on one end, and there is no way to change it because of the way the strap is sewn. I will only use the new one as a waist pack when I ride my bike, and I will continue to use my old one as an over the shoulder bag when I hike. Very disappointed in the new design.

    I love the Fanny Pack. I started using it immediately after I received. It is stylish and I love the construction of the bag. The bag is roomy with several pockets with zippers. In addition, I feel relieved that the bag blocks the EMF from my phone, I carry the phone in the bag, as a matter of fact I am going tp buy a 2nd bag.

    Band needs to be bigger

    The quality of this is excellent - very sturdy and thick material. But the band needs to be bigger as it comes no where close to fitting me and the way it's designed you can't change the band. Super bummed about that as it's a great product.

    Lovely bag

    Lovely bag, but I have fairly broad shoulders and I wanted to wear it as a cross body bag. It's not a one size fits all, the strap doesn't extend long enough for that use on my body so I returned it. It would be perfect if there was an extension strap of some kind.

    cuts exposure but not 100%

    After testing the bag with my cornet electrosmog meter I discovered their was still considerable RF/EF exposure on the backside of this bag. Reduced it by about 75% which is better than nothing. Would still recommend this product.

    Lululemon with protection

    This bag has the same style and design as the Lululemon everywhere belt bag. But this bag has the RFID shield that makes me feel protected. I only wish the strap was a bit longer so it could fit me a bit better while slung over my shoulder or around my waist.

    Radiation Blocking Hip Bag

    I love this bag! I use it daily for cell phone, wallet, drivers license and other small essentials.
    The quality is evident in the fabric, the zippers which work well and are hardly visible, the thick belt and secure buckle. It has sleek zipper compartments in both the front and the back, and smaller netted compartments on the inside. Many places to tuck small items. This has allowed me to stop carrying a handbag altogether. This has saved me some stress as I've been known to leave my purse in a grocery shopping cart and drive away.
    No incidents like that since using this fanny pack for the essentials. If this bag ever wears out, (which I don't think it ever will) - I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again.
