  The EMF shielding is built into the back panel only and provides directional protection. Keep the back of the bag against your body so the shielded panel sits between your devices and your torso. Place your phone and electronic devices in the main compartment or front pockets — not in the hidden back zipper pocket, which sits between the shielding and your body (storing a device there means the shielding is not between your phone and your body). The back panel of the crossbody bag is lined with Ultra Armor® shielding. When the bag sits against your body with the back panel facing your torso, the shielding blocks up to 99% of wireless RF radiation from your stored devices before it reaches you. The frequency range extends up to 2.5 THz, covering WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, cellular, and all three 5G bands including high-band mmWave. Your phone, tablet, or other wireless devices remain fully connected inside the bag — calls, texts, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS all function normally. The shielding is directional: it blocks radiation heading toward your body through the back panel while allowing signals to pass through the front and sides.

The strap adjusts up to 37” with a clip-on D-ring at the bottom that lets you switch between left and right shoulder orientation. Clip onto the right D-ring (when looking at the back of the bag) to wear the strap on your left shoulder with the bottom strap wrapping under your right arm — or clip onto the left D-ring for the opposite configuration. A shoulder strap comfort pad distributes weight during extended wear. The strap attaches with a durable plastic buckle.

The exterior is water-resistant nylon with reinforced stitching and high-quality zippers. How to Use

    Getting Started

    1. Adjust the strap. Set the strap to your preferred length (extends up to 37”). Use the clip-on D-ring at the bottom of the strap to set your shoulder preference: clip to the right D-ring to wear on your left shoulder, or clip to the left D-ring to wear on your right shoulder.

    2. Load the bag. Place your phone and electronic devices in the main compartment or front pockets. Slide credit cards and IDs into the 4 RFID-blocking slots in the front zipper pocket. Store your passport, cash, or sensitive documents in the hidden back zipper pocket.

    3. Wear it with the back panel against your body. The Ultra Armor shielding is in the back panel. When the bag hangs against your torso, the shielding sits between your devices and your body. This is the correct orientation for directional EMF protection.

    For Maximum RF Reduction

    • Keep the shielded back against your body. The shielding is directional — it blocks radiation heading from your devices through the back panel toward your torso. If the bag is turned around with the front facing your body, the shielding is no longer between your device and your body, offering no body protection.

    • Do NOT store electronic devices in the hidden back pocket. The Ultra Armor shielding is in the backside of the largest pocket. Therefore, any device placed in the hidden back pocket would not have the EMF-blocking shielding in between your body and your device.Use that pocket for non-electronic items only: passport, cash, documents.

    • For hands-free calls, pair with Air Tube Earbuds. Connect DefenderShield Air Tube Earbuds to your phone, keep the phone in the bag, and accept calls from the earbud controller. The phone stays shielded in the bag while you talk and listen through the earbuds.

    Water Bottle Pocket

    Locate the vertical zipper on the back of the bag running from top to bottom. Unzip and pull out the fabric lining to reveal the water bottle pocket. Slide in a bottle up to 3.75” in diameter and adjust the top band to secure it..

    Care Instructions

    • Spot clean the exterior with a damp cloth as needed.

    • Do not machine wash or tumble dry — the shielding layer can be damaged.

    • Avoid bending or puncturing the internal shielding fabric.

    • Keep zippers free of debris for smooth operation.

    The back panel only. The Ultra Armor shielding is sewn into the back of the bag. When you wear the bag crossbody with the back against your torso, the shielding sits between your devices (inside the bag) and your body. The front, top, bottom, and sides are not shielded. The design is directional so your devices stay fully connected while radiation heading toward your body is reduced.

    No — do not store electronic devices in the hidden back pocket. That pocket sits between the shielding panel and your body. A phone placed there would be closer to your body than the shielding — the shielding would face outward, away from you. Use the hidden back pocket for non-electronic items only: passport, cash, or documents. Place your phone in the main compartment or front pockets, where the shielding is between the device and your body.

    Yes — fully functional. The shielding covers the back panel only. The phone’s antenna communicates through the unshielded front and sides.
