Returns and Refunds

If would like to request a return of your DefenderShield purchase, you can do so within 30 days of your order delivery date.

If you believe your product is defective or if it arrived damaged, please refer to our one-year warranty policy.

Custom-cut products, including Shielding by the Yard, are measured or prepared specifically for each order. If you’re unsure which product or quantity to order, please contact us before purchasing and we’ll be happy to help. 

Item Condition

We understand that you may need to open and inspect your item to decide if it’s right for you.

Returned items should be in clean, like-new condition. Items that are heavily used, damaged, missing components, altered, washed, stained, or unable to be restocked may not be eligible for a refund.

How Do I Make A Return?

United States Returns

Step 1 - Click HERE to make a return through our returns portal.

Step 2 - Request a return.

Fill in your email and order # associated with your return. This can be found in your confirmation email, or in your customer account.

If your order has more than one item, only select the items that you want to return.

Answer the questions in the form, and hit submit.



Step 3 - Wait for approval.

We will respond to your request within 1-2 business days. If your return request is approved, you will get emailed a downloadable USPS return label and return shipping instructions.

If you did not purchase DefenderShield Checkout+ insurance, then your return label cost will be taken out of your refund.

If your return is not approved, please refer back to our return policy, and please contact us at support@defendershield.com if you think there has been a mistake.

No refund will be granted for products clearly used, damaged, tampered with, or in unsellable condition. DefenderShield maintains full discretion in labeling a product’s condition.



Step 4 - Ship the product back to us.
Place your product in a well-protected shipping box or envelope (can be the same package you received it in). Print out and attach the return label to the outside and bring to any USPS drop off location.



Step 5 - Get a refund.
After we receive your shipment, we will evaluate its condition and process your return within 14 days of delivery to our warehouse.

To receive a full refund, returns of these products must be unopened, unused, and in the original packaging.

Otherwise, they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

You will receive a confirmation email of your refund. Please be aware that it may take a few days for the refund to process on your account.

International Returns

Step 1 - Log into your Customer Account.
Click the profile icon in the store's menu, or go to this link, account.defendershield.com.

Log in to your account with your email address, then provide the six-digit verification code included in the verification email.

Step 2 - Request a return.

Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.

If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

Select a return reason, add a note, then click "Request return".

Make sure the product is unused and in its original packaging.

Step 3 - Wait for approval.

We will respond to your request within 1-2 business days. If your return request is approved, and you had purchased DefenderShield Checkout+ for free return shipping, we will email you a label and return shipping instructions.

If you did not purchase DefenderShield Checkout+ insurance, then you will be required to purchase a return label yourself.

If your return is not approved, please refer back to our return policy, and please contact us at support@defendershield.com if you think there has been a mistake.

Step 4 - Ship the product back to us.

If you received a return label, use the associated shipper.

If you don't have a prepaid label, place proof of purchase (packing slip, order confirmation email, order number) in the box and return at your convenience to the below address:

Consider insuring your package in case it is lost or damaged in transit. DefenderShield is not responsible for items that are damaged or do not arrive at our warehouse.

The customer assumes full liability for losses or damages resulting from shipping as well as all responsibility to pursue payment for such issues with their selected carrier. We recommend using a carrier with shipping tracking capability.
