The DefenderPad Laptop Radiation Shield uses DefenderShield’s military grade, state-of-the-art Ultra Armor+® Shielding Technology to help protect your body from all EMF frequencies up to 90 GHz emitting from the bottom of your laptop or tablet. Just place your DefenderShield Laptop Radiation Shield under your laptop to protect your lap from EMF and 5th Generation radiation emitting from the bottom of your device. It should not affect cellular service or connectivity.

We encapsulate our patent-pending shielding layers with two outer case materials: a hard bottom fabricated with food-grade polyurethane and a soft top using highly thermal resistant silicone, both of which are free of heavy metals, including lead, PVC, BPA, BPS, and other known environmental contaminants. The top outer layer is a textured non-slip surface which helps prevent the devices placed on top from sliding when the DefenderPad is used at an angle.

About DefenderShield's Ultra Armor®

Our custom-created Ultra Armor+® shielding technology can block up to 99% of RF (radio frequency) and ELF (extremely low frequency) radiation from 0 to 90 GHz, including all bands of the 5th Generation spectrum: low-band operating below 1 GHz, mid-band or c-band up to 6 GHz, and high-band millimeter waves at 24 GHz and higher. In addition, it blocks WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular (1G-5G), RFID, NFC, GPS, and other microwaves and radio waves from reaching your body. It should not affect service or connectivity. What is the difference between the DefenderPad and the Sleeve?

Both the DefenderPad and Laptop Sleeve offer industry-leading protection with Ultra Armor+ shielding, blocking 99% of EMF radiation (0-90GHz) for your laptop. Here's a breakdown to help you decide: DefenderPad: Ideal for dedicated workspaces (offices, desks). Rigid design with a cooling silicone top surface for lap comfort. Not portable due to size and weight. Laptop Sleeve: Flexible and portable for on-the-go use. Offers lap protection during use and storage protection during travel. Available in 15” and 17” models.

How long does the shielding in my DefenderPad last? When do I need to replace it?

DefenderShield technology is designed for long-lasting performance. The shielding material in your DefenderPad does not degrade over time, so it continues to effectively conduct, absorb, and dissipate EMF radiation. Can the DefenderPad be cleaned?

For your DefenderPad, gentle cleaning helps maintain their appearance. Here's what you'll need: Mild detergent Soft cloth or cotton balls Clean water Cleaning Instructions: Mix a mild detergent solution: Add a small amount of mild detergent to a bowl of clean water. Dampen the cloth: Dip your cloth into the solution and wring it out thoroughly to ensure it's slightly damp, not wet. Wipe down the surfaces: Gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your DefenderPad or Laptop Sleeve with the damp cloth. Air dry completely: Allow the pad or sleeve to air dry completely before using it again. Important Tips: Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cloths, as they can damage the materials. Never submerge your DefenderPad or Laptop Sleeve in any liquid.

Which side goes up?

The DefenderPad Laptop and Heat Shield provide EMF radiation protection regardless of which side faces up. However, we designed the DefenderPad with a dual benefit: Smooth Bottom: Ensures compatibility with various surfaces. Silicone Top: Provides a non-slip grip to keep your device stable during use. We recommend placing the silicone top facing upwards for optimal device stability. This way, you can focus on work or entertainment without worrying about your laptop slipping.

Where does the radiation emit from on my laptop?

EMF radiation from your device is emitted omni-directionally (in all directions), similar to how sunlight spreads. This means radiation comes from the back, screen, and sides of the device.
