This scarf shields the body area it covers from ambient wireless RF radiation (WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular, low- to mid-band 5G). It does not provide shielding to areas not covered by the fabric. The silver fibers in the cotton blend are naturally antimicrobial and odor-resistant - the scarf needs less frequent washing than standard cotton. This is a different shielding technology than the Ultra Armor® used in DefenderShield’s device cases.

Positioning for Best Shielding

Nice product. Soft and comfortable to wear, and doesn't slip off. Cooling and pleasant. Washable. I also use it as a light cover for naps, results in better sleep. It's a good medium size, so it can be worn in a variety of ways. Just a little bit pricey, but hopefully that will improve with time, to make it accessible to more people!

The EMF-blocking fabric used is of high quality (cotton and silver), and is much more comfortable to use than other polyester-based EMF-blocking fabrics. It works well - I am sleeping better since using it whenever using a laptop. It is spendy, though.

I love this scarf!

I love it! I can wrap it around my neck to protect my thyroid and still drape it over my chest, abdomen to protect myself while using my iPad, iPhone or laptop. I don’t have to worry about the emf with this scarf.

Works perfectly

I was impressed from the moment I opened the packaged scarf. It was lightweight and resilient. When I checked it with the EMF meter, it worked perfectly as I walked around my home. The one thing it did not block was a sleep apnea machine for some reason. I could not even get the ratings to go down using a Faraday bag so not too surprising. I have now purchased a pink scarf as the EMFs attacking my neck at night have subsided due to this scarf.

Love the scarf. The fabric is of a good quality. It's soft too!

I got my scarf and wrapped my bluetooth speaker in it to test it out. The speaker stopped working after I had wrapped it about five times, and the signal came back as I unwrapped it! This is a scarf (as marketed) so it's worth noting that it's thin. I do want to order more robust EMF protection, like a hoodie and blanket, as well. I do feel an immediate difference (calmness) anytime I put this scarf on my body. Been loving having it to place over my body in the car as I drive.

I really like this scarf! Love that the material is lightweight and appreciate how big it is. I would love it if they used the same material to make long sleeve shirts and leggings to put under normal clothes for when I go out and about and am surrounded by EMF's. I also have the blanket and hat and love them too. Can definitely tell the difference when using these products!!!

It works

I got the scarf in gray. I sleep with it laying over me at night. I sleep better now, don't wake up as much and if I do, I fall asleep quickly. I also use it at work where I am inundated with computers and other electronics and I definitely have a lot more energy. One thing to be aware of is that it does trap heat a bit.

Scarf Protects My Thyroid

The scarf is really long and wide, allowing it to be worn many ways. I wear it in my house with my DefenderShield beanie when I’m on my iPad,which has a DS cover. More importantly, I wear the scarf and beanie when I leave the house bc we have 5G on power poles. My throat is covered. I have a DS on my iPhone as well.
I’m convinced DS works bc I have their stylus and gloves, without those my fingers tingle, burn, and hurt like tiny papercuts. I’m thankful for DefenderShield!!

The silver fibers are naturally antimicrobial and odor-resistant. Silver inhibits bacterial growth on the fabric surface, which is the primary cause of odor in worn clothing. This means the scarf stays fresher longer than standard cotton and needs significantly less frequent washing - an advantage for travel and daily commuting.

The scarf blocks ambient RF from the environment, not radiation from a device you are holding. If you place your phone on top of the scarf while it is draped over your lap, the fabric between the phone and your body would provide shielding. Gentle handwash only. Air dry. Do not machine wash, bleach, or tumble dry. Harsh washing degrades the silver fibers and reduces shielding effectiveness over time. The antimicrobial properties of the silver mean you will need to wash it less often than you might expect.
