Description

Store Your Phone, Shield Your Body

Your phone does not stop transmitting when you stop using it. Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 5G signals radiate continuously from the device whether the screen is on or off, in your pocket or your bag. The closer the phone sits to your body, the higher the exposure.

The DefenderShield® EMF Blocking Pouch gives your phone a place to rest where the emissions are reduced between the device and your body. The back panel is lined with Ultra Armor® Shielding Technology — a shielding layer that blocks up to 99% of wireless RF radiation up to 110 GHz. That covers all three 5G bands, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and RFID. Slide the phone in, keep the shielded back facing your body, and the pouch does the rest.

Your phone stays accessible while the shielded back absorbs what would otherwise radiate directly into your body. Cellular signal, WiFi, and Bluetooth remain fully functional.

Note: This product uses Ultra Armor® (without the “+”). It blocks wireless RF radiation but does not include ELF battery shielding. For ELF coverage, see DefenderShield’s Ultra Armor+® wallet cases and phone shields.

Hands-Free Carry, Hands-Free Calls

The pouch is built from durable neoprene. A detachable cross-body strap (adjustable from 26.5” to 50.5”) lets you wear the pouch over your shoulder or across your chest. A VELCRO® belt loop on the back attaches to any belt or bag strap. A magnetic full-flap closure keeps the phone hidden and secure while allowing one-handed access.

A pen loop and a front pocket hold small items like a card, an ID, or a stylus alongside the phone. For hands-free calls, place the phone upside down in the pouch on speakerphone (the microphone faces out the top), or connect DefenderShield Air Tube Earbuds for private conversations while the phone stays shielded inside the pouch.

Features

🛡 Ultra Armor® — RF Shielding Up to 110 GHz

The back panel blocks up to 99% of RF radiation across the full wireless spectrum, including all three 5G bands, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and RFID. The shielding faces your body; the phone’s antenna communicates from the unshielded front and sides. This is Ultra Armor® (RF coverage). For RF + ELF battery coverage, see products with the Ultra Armor+® designation.

📱 Cross-Body Strap + Belt Loop — Two Ways to Wear

Clip the detachable strap for cross-body or over-the-shoulder carry (adjustable 26.5”–50.5”). Or skip the strap and loop the pouch onto your belt or bag with the built-in VELCRO® attachment. Either way, make sure the shielded back stays between the phone and your body.

    🔒 Magnetic Flap Closure

A full-flap magnetic closure keeps the phone secure and hidden. One-handed access — flip the flap, pull the phone, flip it back. No zippers, no snaps, no fumbling.

📡 Phone Stays Fully Connected Inside the Pouch

Calls, texts, and notifications come through normally while the phone is inside the pouch. The shielding faces your body only — the front and sides remain unshielded, so the antenna communicates freely. No missed calls, no dropped WiFi, no Bluetooth disconnect. If you want no signal access, check out the DefenderShield Cell Phone Faraday Crossbody Pouch.

    🎙 Hands-Free Call Options

Speakerphone: place the phone upside down in the pouch so the microphone faces out the top opening. Talk freely while the phone stays shielded. Private calls: connect Air Tube Earbuds, accept calls from the audio controller, and keep the phone inside the pouch the entire time.

    🧪 Durable Neoprene Build

Neoprene — the same material used in wetsuits — provides flexibility, water resistance, and long-term durability. The pouch does not stiffen, crack, or degrade with daily use the way rigid cases can. It weighs 2.8 oz and fits most smartphones.

    How to Use

    Getting Set Up

    1. Attach the strap or belt loop. Clip the detachable cross-body strap to the side rings for shoulder or chest carry, or thread the VELCRO® loop on the back through a belt or bag strap. Both options keep the shielded back facing your body.

    2. Slide the phone in. Open the magnetic flap, insert the phone, and close the flap. The phone sits against the shielded back panel automatically to block direct body contact with EMF emissions.

    3. Use the front pocket and pen loop. Slip a card, ID, or stylus into the front pocket or pen loop for quick access alongside the phone.

    For Maximum RF Reduction

Keep the shielded back facing your body. On a belt: the back of the pouch should be against your hip. Cross-body: the back should be against your torso. In a bag: the back of the pouch should be closest to your body. The shielding is directional — it blocks what radiates from the phone toward you through the back panel.

The front, top, and sides are not shielded. If you wear the pouch with the front facing your body, the shielding faces outward and provides no body protection.

    • For hands-free speakerphone calls: place the phone upside down in the pouch. Wear the pouch around your neck with the crossbody strap shortened. The phone should be 6-8 inches from your mouth, with the microphone facing out the top opening. Don’t close the magnetic cover and instead tuck it in behind your phone — the phone stays inside and the shielded back stays between the device and your body. The speaker in the bag should be able to be heard in normal environments through the neoprene bag fabric.

For private hands-free calls: connect DefenderShield Air Tube Earbuds to your phone, place the phone in the pouch, and accept calls from the earbud controller. Talk and listen through the earbuds while the phone stays shielded inside the pouch.

    Care Instructions

    • Wipe the neoprene exterior with a damp cloth. Allow to air dry.

    • Do not machine wash/dry or submerge the pouch — the shielding layer can be damaged.

    • Keep the magnetic closure free of metal debris for a reliable seal.

    • Store flat when not in use to preserve the shape of the neoprene.

    Phone Pouch FAQ

Cell Phone EMF Protection + Radiation Blocking Pouch

How does the pouch shield my body?

The shielding is built into the back panel. Keep that side directly against your body. When the pouch is on your belt with the back of the pouch toward your hip, or across your chest with the back of the pouch toward your torso, the Ultra Armor® layer sits between the phone and your body. RF emissions heading toward you are reduced by up to 99%. Emissions from the front and sides of the pouch are not shielded — the design is one-directional so the phone stays connected.

What is the difference between Ultra Armor® and Ultra Armor+®?

Ultra Armor® blocks wireless RF radiation. Ultra Armor+® adds ELF battery shielding on top of the same RF coverage. This pouch uses Ultra Armor®, which covers all wireless frequencies up to 110 GHz — cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, RFID, and all three 5G bands. It does not block Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) radiation from the phone’s battery and circuitry. For ELF coverage, look at DefenderShield’s Ultra Armor+® wallet cases, phone shields, and other hard-sided products.

Will my phone still receive calls and texts inside the pouch?

Yes, your phone will remain fully functional. The shielding covers the back panel only to block direct body contact with EMF emissions. The phone’s antenna communicates through the unshielded front and sides. Calls ring, texts arrive, notifications push, WiFi holds, and Bluetooth stays paired.

How do I make hands-free calls with the phone in the pouch?

Two options: speakerphone or Air Tube Earbuds. For speakerphone, place the phone upside down, facing out, in the pouch so the microphone and speaker are accessible. Speak toward the opening and listen through the speaker. The sound should be able to travel through the front of the pouch. For private calls, connect DefenderShield Air Tube Earbuds to the phone, place the phone in the pouch, and accept calls from the earbud controller. The phone stays shielded inside the pouch during the entire call.

    Which phones fit?

Most smartphones that fit within the 7” × 5” inner dimensions. That covers the majority of current iPhones, Samsung Galaxy models, Google Pixel devices, and other standard-sized smartphones. Make sure to measure your phone dimensions and check to make sure your phone with its existing case is smaller than 7 × 5 inches. The neoprene stretches slightly to accommodate thicker phones or phones in slim cases.

Can I wear this on a belt and across my body?

Both — the pouch is designed for either. The VELCRO® loop on the back threads onto any belt or bag strap. The detachable cross-body strap clips to the side rings and adjusts from 26.5” to 50.5” for shoulder or chest carry. Both methods keep the shielded back facing your body.

    Is the front pocket RFID-blocking?

The front pocket is a general-purpose pocket, not specifically RFID-shielded. It holds a card, an ID, or a small item for convenience, but it does not provide the dedicated RFID-blocking shielding found in DefenderShield wallet cases. If RFID protection for your cards is important, a wallet case with dedicated RFID-blocking slots is the better option.

How is this different from a DefenderShield wallet case or phone shield?

The wallet case wraps around your phone with Ultra Armor+® (RF + ELF) in the front cover, plus RFID card slots, a wrist strap, and a landscape stand. The phone shield is a flat panel you position manually between your body and phone. The pouch is a neoprene universal phone carrier with Ultra Armor® (RF only) in the back panel, a cross-body strap, and a belt loop — designed for on-the-go storage rather than active phone use. Choose the pouch when you want hands-free body carry with RF shielding while the phone is put away.

How does this compare to generic EMF phone pouches?

    1. Full-spectrum RF coverage: Ultra Armor® blocks RF up to 110 GHz, spanning every wireless frequency including all three 5G bands. Generic pouches cover a limited frequency range and may not disclose test data. 2. Purpose-built carrying system: detachable cross-body strap (26.5”–50.5”), VELCRO® belt loop, magnetic flap closure, pen loop, and front pocket. Generic pouches are typically simple sleeves with no carry options. 3. Warranty and returns: 1-year manufacturer warranty and 30-day full-refund returns. Generic pouches typically offer 30–90-day terms.

I keep my phone in my pocket. Why would I switch to a pouch?

Your phone does not stop transmitting when you stop using it. In your pocket, the phone sits directly against your body with nothing between you and the RF emissions. The DefenderShield Pouch places a verified shielding layer at that exact contact point. Clip it to your belt or sling it cross-body and the phone stays just as accessible as a pocket — but with up to 99% RF reduction on the side facing you.
