Kari and Julie are sisters passionate about helping others rise to the next level. The Nurse Practitioner and Pharmacist duo co-founded A Natural Shift, a website geared for finding sustainable health. To go along with it, they created the podcast Take The Upgrade as a way to share simple tips and interviews each week to raise the collective and help people discover an upgraded life.
Kari and Julie have a conversation with our own co-founder Daniel DeBaun, who started DefenderShield after 30+ years in the telecom industry. Dan’s background in telecommunications led to his realization that the low-level electromagnetic fields coming from our devices could become harmful with chronic exposure. Dan created a way to block the specific RF and ELF frequencies cell phones, laptops, and tablets emit, and founded the company DefenderShield to inform and protect as many people as he could from EMF. Dan and Ryan also wrote a best-selling guide book to EMF radiation, called Radiation Nation: The Fallout of Modern Technology.
On this podcast, Dan shares how EMF radiation wasn’t an issue just 15 years ago. He talks about the thermal impacts made on our bodies, as well as the lesser-known biological impacts like the cell danger response (CDR). He then shares practical ways to limit your exposure.
