Dr. Charles Shidlofsky

Dr. Charles Shidlofsky graduated in 1988 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and has been in practice for 30 years in the Dallas, TX area. He is a professor in the Colleges of Optometry at UIWRSO, Western University, and Southern. Through the Southern College of Optometry, he is the Residency Director for Neuro-Vision Associates of North Texas and is highly involved in the sports world as the Founder and Vice President of the International Sports Vision Association, Clinical Director for the Special Olympics and as the team Vision Coach/Eye Doctor for the Dallas Stars (NHL), FC Dallas (MLS), and Allen Americans (ECHL).

Dr. Shidlosfsky consults and is on staff at various organizations such as the Centre for Neuro Skills, Pate Rehabilitation, Encompass Health, and the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation. His primary subjects of lecture are vision testing and rehabilitation after a TBI/ABI, sports vision, developmental vision, myopia management, specialty contact lenses and medical/allied medical co-management.
